Aquatic Architects Design Studio (AADS) is the first architectural service provider, solely focused on water/floating developments. Thanks to the experience expanded through our sister company in the Netherlands, Water Studio, AADS can offer proven solutions, dependability, and high performance to our clients. 

At Aquatic Architects Design Studio (AADS), we understand the value of the region’s shorelines and beyond, into the sea. From this understanding, floating developments have been revolutionized through our innovative solutions, and thus tailored to the geographical and climate nature of any region. 

Founded by the young and innovative award wining architect, Ahmed Youssef, Aquatic Architects Design Studio had established an unprecedented approach for aquatic architectural solutions and floating developments, tailored to the needs and requirements of the environmental surroundings in the Gulf region, redefining and adding value to the shorelines and water territories as an asset of greater potential, beyond aesthetics.

At AADS we perceive project developing on aquatic territories to be a very sensitive subject in terms of sustainability and efficiency. Looking at aquatic territories as a blank page, we carefully consider the decisions taken in shaping this unique environment. We aim to achieve independent and self sufficient developments with no negative impact on our water environment. We seek to create a different source and market in which developments are completely self sufficient and able to produce a surplus of water and energy that can be utilized for mainland demands. Forming such an environment greatly impacts the market in terms of logistics, utility growth. Floating provides easier relocations of developments when needed. This significant trait enables cost effective kinetic movement within a single development. These methods allow adaptation to various weather conditions and significantly increase outdoor space utilization and efficiency.
